Your work includes the conception, implementation and review of data intelligence requirements.
You keep an eye on the entire Microsoft architecture for our customers, from the enterprise platform to analysis and reporting.
You not only understand but you can also coach data modeling, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
You provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices for data engineers and development teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and developers, to provide scalable data solutions.
Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies for continuous improvement in data engineering.
You support our data-driven community of over 100 employees in the ongoing development of data intelligence & analytics topics.

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
Deep expertise in Azure Data Platform (Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Purview).
Strong experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL (CosmosDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Expertise in ETL/ELT tools and processes, including Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Glue, dbt.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Scala, PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and analytics (PL-300 certification would be a plus).
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English; German language skills would be a plus (minimum B1 level).
