In the Finance Department — consisting of Accounting and Controlling — you and your team build a strong financial foundation for our company.
Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements and reporting to our parent company (HGB & IFRS).
Independent management of ongoing financial accounting, including sub-ledger and fixed asset accounting.
Structured handling of our project business — from invoice verification to posting incoming and outgoing invoices as well as credit notes.
Payment transactions and active cash-flow management.
VAT prepayments, ZM reports (EU sales listings), tax analyses and monitoring of relevant types of taxes.
Collaboration with internal business units, group stakeholders, auditors and tax consultants.
Further development, optimization and documentation of efficient accounting processes.
Special projects in cooperation with the Head of Finance.
You challenge the status quo, identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes in a structured way.
Requirements
A degree in business administration.
A commercial apprenticeship with further qualification as a Certified Balance Sheet Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter, IHK).
Or vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter).
Solid knowledge of IFRS and experience in project-based business.
Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting — ideally within a GmbH in a corporate group.
Confident in preparing annual financial statements and an interest in tax-related matters.
Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with common ERP systems.
Interest in process optimization, automation and learning new systems.
A structured, independent way of working and strong communication skills.
Very good German and confident English skills.
