Designing electromechanical equipment based on electronic functionality and technical specifications (mass, size, vibration, thermal constraints, standards), with a focus on manufacturability and competitiveness
Supporting equipment packaging design and participating in mechanical and thermal validation activities
Performing analyses and dimensioning of equipment based on environmental constraints
Contributing to modular architecture definition for various equipment
Providing technical support to manufacturing teams, testing teams, and project managers throughout the product lifecycle
Participating in monitoring technical evolutions and managing product obsolescence
Requirements
Master's degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (Industrial or Civil)
Good mobility for projects between Brussels and Antwerp
Young graduate up to 2 years of professional experience
Basic theoretical knowledge in thermal and vibration domains (training or internship experience is acceptable)
Strong physical intuition and good 3D visualization capabilities
Experience with mechanical design software (Catia V5 or equivalent)
Interest or initial experience with Finite Element software such as Ansys (mechanical and thermal)
General understanding of electronics (components, system diagrams)
Autonomous, organized, eager to learn, with strong team spirit and attention to detail
Practical mindset with interest in understanding manufacturing constraints
Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
