Homeware Product Developer

Role Overview

• use market trends, buyer input, sales performance, and customer metrics to enhance products
• participate in overseas buying trips and manage follow ups
• attend trade shows and comp shop with the PD Team
• lead negotiation of pricing, delivery, and approval of product samples
• manage sample development process
• maintain constant email communication with offices, agents, and suppliers
• build relationships with sourcing partners to ensure implementation of QVC procedures

Requirements

• product expertise
• ability to negotiate the best prices
• experience in product development across multiple home classifications
• business knowledge in home
• understanding of relevant design systems such as PLM
• willingness to travel domestically and internationally
