About this role
Role Overview
- Design and oversee projects incorporating natural ventilation, environmental quality, and renewable energy
- Ensure compliance with RTAADOM standards and seismic and cyclone-resistant regulations
- Develop bioclimatic designs optimized for Réunion Island's climate and topography
- Use BIM (ArchiCAD, Revit) for modeling and coordination
- Collaborate with engineering consultancies, engineers, contractors/craftsmen, and local institutions
Requirements
- Degree-qualified architect
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role
- Proficient in RTAADOM and regulations applicable to the French overseas departments (DOM)
- Advanced BIM skills and proficiency in ArchiCAD and Revit
- Expertise in bioclimatic design and materials suited to a humid tropical climate
- Good knowledge of Réunion Island
- Sensitivity to local architectural heritage
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Creativity and a collaborative approach, with respect for team ideas
