You are responsible for the stable operation, further development and standardization of our container platforms
You serve as the central point of contact for container-related topics, assessing requirements, prioritizing them and ensuring sustainable implementation
You make technical decisions for the future-oriented operation of container and cloud technologies (e.g., Kubernetes-based platforms, managed container services, GitOps approaches)
You respond to increasing demands for modern application delivery and advise business and development teams on selecting suitable cloud and platform services
Together with colleagues, you develop solutions and decision-making materials to simplify the use of modern platform services in day-to-day operations
You coordinate external cloud and platform service providers and handle the technical alignment required to find solutions
Through your participation in lifecycle management, you ensure that our container landscape remains stable, secure and technologically up to date
Requirements
Completed technical training (e.g., IT specialist in system integration), a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
Practical experience operating current container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, managed container services), working with cloud platforms and using Infrastructure as Code
Ideally, knowledge of technologies and tools such as Microsoft Azure, Terraform, container orchestration, CI/CD or GitOps tools, and monitoring and logging solutions
Initial experience participating in IT projects; certifications (e.g., CKA, Terraform Associate) are an advantage
Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style, enthusiasm for new technologies and an interest in taking on responsibility
