Role Overview
- Driving the development of modern, accessible, and user-friendly frontend experiences using TypeScript and Solid.js
- Contributing to backend services in Rust and helping evolve our systems where needed
- Helping shape architecture, patterns, and performance as the product grows
- Designing and consuming APIs that power rich client-side functionality
- Working closely with product and design to turn ideas into polished, user-centric experiences
- Participating in technical decisions that influence both frontend direction and overall system architecture
- Troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and optimising performance across the stack
- Stepping into other parts of the stack when required

Requirements
- A full-stack engineer who equally cares about frontend and backend development and a genuine interest in mental health and building technology that makes a positive impact
- Deep experience with TypeScript and modern frontend development, ideally including Solid.js or similar frameworks
- Comfortable collaborating with backend systems and APIs, and happy to contribute server-side when needed
- Solid understanding of web fundamentals, performance, and user experience best practices
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL (we use Postgres)
- Interest in learning and growing with Rust (prior experience is a bonus, not a requirement)
- Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, iterative startup environment
- A proactive problem-solver who can work independently and values collaboration
- Clear communicator who enjoys shared ownership and working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers
