Role Overview
- Design and prototype AI agents that support People Team use cases
- Collaborate with People Team partners to identify high-impact problems
- Experiment with prompt design, agent logic, and evaluation approaches
- Document use cases, risks, and learnings to support responsible scaling
- Ensure alignment with Waystar AI governance and ethical guidelines
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Learning Sciences, or a related field
- Foundational understanding of AI or machine learning concepts
- Interest in or experience with Generative AI tools or agent-based systems
- Strong communication skills and ethical judgment
- Experience with AI frameworks or automation tools (preferred)
- Interest in learning, talent development, or people operations (preferred)
- Curiosity, adaptability, and comfort experimenting in ambiguous spaces (preferred)
