Development, maintenance and optimization of mobile applications using Flutter and Dart – from feature implementation to the sustainable improvement of existing codebases
Active contribution to technical concepts and architecture decisions, as well as the further development of our mobile stack including development standards, processes and workflows
Evaluation and assessment of technology options (e.g., Flutter vs. native approaches, Kotlin Multiplatform) – internally and in technical client consulting on architecture, platform strategy and feasibility
Conducting code reviews and ensuring long-term code quality
Evaluating and integrating new technologies – including AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) – and actively transferring knowledge to the team
Requirements
Several years of professional experience (at least 3 years) in software development within the mobile domain
Strong proficiency in Dart and Flutter and experience with multiple production Flutter projects
Understanding of modern app architectures and Clean Code / Clean Architecture principles (SOLID, Repository Pattern, Domain-Driven Design)
Experience with common Flutter ecosystems, e.g., state management and dependency injection (e.g., Riverpod), HTTP communication and local data persistence
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, reproducible builds and integrating external services and backends (e.g., Firebase or Appwrite)
Ability to contextualize Flutter among platform alternatives (Kotlin Multiplatform, Swift/SwiftUI, React Native) and provide well-founded technology recommendations
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), strong communication skills, team spirit and a willingness to actively share knowledge
Consulting skills and the ability to act as a technical contact in client projects
Analytical mindset, structured working style and a commitment to continuous professional development
