Leading development of ‘fit for purpose ‘packaging platforms
Leading areas of sustainable technical development across NA packaging portfolio
Developing detailed packaging specifications to ensure quality materials and best value for money
Initiating, coordinating and executing line trials at appropriate supply locations
Working with the cross-functional cell teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose
Managing packaging suppliers to ensure proper execution of projects
Coordinating the creation of high-quality prototypes
Collaborating with global Mars counterparts to spot opportunities for scale
Supporting onboarding of Associate Packaging Engineers and Packaging Engineers

B.S. Packaging Science Degree or related technical discipline or equivalent
3+ years of industry experience
Solid understanding of key scientific principles associated with packaging
Demonstrated record of success performing research
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with teams
Effective communication skills
Advanced degree in Packaging Science or related technical discipline (preferred)
Food/CPG and manufacturing experience (preferred)
Flexible films development experience (preferred)
