Responsible for operation, application, investigation, and enforcement of cybersecurity systems and policies
Monitoring systems and investigating potential threats
Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity infrastructure
Coordinating technical security activities and responding to incidents
Providing regular reporting on security operations to management
Monitoring network traffic patterns and investigating security breaches
Reviewing user access rights and conducting threat hunting activities
Preparing reports on cybersecurity activities and incidents
Administering security assessments for systems containing institutional data
Contributing to risk assessments and security audits
Requirements
Diploma in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of two years of cybersecurity-related experience, or five years in software development, technical support, or systems administration
Experience managing Microsoft services and web systems
Strong knowledge of application and web security practices, system and network design, SSL, DNS, and TCP/IP networking
Experience with firewall configuration and operation
Intermediate experience in penetration testing, vulnerability management, secure coding, security automation, and integrations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capacity to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
An equivalent combination of related education and experience (for international education, requires assessment through IQAS, WES, or similar organizations)
