You will own the overall international accounting processes, including compliance. This includes providing advanced expertise and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of financial statements for our 7 international subsidiaries
You will work closely with tax, payroll, legal, and other accounting teams to ensure we meet all of our deadlines and obligations. You will function as a project manager in cases when there is a need for these various teams to collaborate on compliance deliverables.
You will oversee five international audits from beginning to end, working in conjunction with our third-party partners
You will own the relationship with our third party services providers who assist with local filings and compliance.
You will drive process improvements to ensure we are operating efficiently and create new processes to accommodate our always-changing and quickly growing business.
You will review the work of other team members and provide coaching and feedback as needed
You will be the go-to person for international accounting and tangent processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent business degree
6+ years of experience in Accounting or Audit, including 2+ years of experience in International accounting
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing relationships and compliance with a third-party accounting-service provider
Hands-on experience with accounting tools like NetSuite, Excel
