About this role
Role Overview
You will support the market analysis of generative design tools and evaluate existing design tools and algorithms with respect to their applicability in the power electronics domain.
You will contribute to the further development of a generative design approach by developing novel algorithms that address the specific needs of the automotive sector.
In addition, you will help design a workflow that combines data generation with AI metamodels and Physical-AI models.
You will assist with multidimensional optimization that includes cost reduction, efficiency improvement, weight reduction, and the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies.
You will also support the integration of AI-driven optimization methods, accelerated multiphysics simulations, and automated analysis pipelines based on Physical-AI technologies.
Requirements
Enrolled in a degree program in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
Knowledge of generative design and experience with CAD software.
Familiarity with ANSYS tools (Mechanical, Thermal-Electric Simulation, optiSLang) or a strong interest in learning them.
Experience or interest in Physical-AI models (e.g., NVIDIA PhysicsNeMo, physics-informed neural networks, Omniverse-based simulation environments).
Analytical and structured way of working.
Teamwork and excellent communication skills.
Very good English skills.
Benefits
Comprehensive mentoring & onboarding.
Personal and professional development.
Flexible working hours.
Mobile/remote work.
Attractive and fair compensation.
Student apartments (subject to availability & only at the Munich location).
