Requirements
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or other Information Technology fields; OR a bachelor's degree in any field plus a postgraduate specialization in Information Technology.
Desired Certifications:
Frontend
- Meta Front-End Developer Professional Certificate (Coursera).
- React learning paths/certifications (e.g., Meta/IBM/Coursera/edX).
JavaScript/TypeScript (highly desirable)
- JavaScript/TypeScript certifications (e.g., Microsoft Learn, Meta, Coursera, edX).
APIs and Integration
- Postman API Fundamentals / Postman Student Expert (or equivalent).
- API Design/Management certifications (Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft).
Containers and DevOps (desirable)
- Docker Certified Associate (DCA).
- DevOps Foundation (DevOps Institute).
Quality and Software Testing
- ISTQB Foundation Level.
- Test Automation Certification (Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
Application Security
- OWASP Top 10 / Secure Coding (web applications).
