Build tools to monitor site stability and performance.
Help ensure the reliability and scalability of our infrastructure, maintaining platform SLOs.
Troubleshoot site issues using industry-leading tools.
Automate everything with Python, Puppet, Git, Jenkins, and Terraform.
Develop custom tools when off-the-shelf solutions don’t work at our scale.
Participate in light on-call rotations with geographically distributed SRE teams.

Familiarity with Linux and an enthusiasm for learning more.
Command of your favorite modern programming language: Python, Ruby, Go, Java, C++, etc.
Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (we use AWS).
Practical background in Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, or similar).
Relevant experience with Linux containerisation and orchestration (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes).
A solid understanding of fundamental technologies like TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
Exposure to monitoring concepts and best practices around performance, reliability, and security.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
An eagerness to ask questions, take initiative and learn every day.
