Design, setup and configuration of local development environments using k3d
Ensuring fast and smooth deployments across all internal stages and pipelines, as well as corresponding software releases
Advising and supporting containerization efforts for modern web applications (microservices) and their operation
Implementing standardization and automation of build, test and deployment processes while observing the highest quality and strict data-protection requirements
Defining relevant metrics for application monitoring in collaboration with SRE
Deploying applications via custom Helm charts
Debugging applications and providing 3rd-level support

Technical degree, ideally in computer science, or a comparable vocational qualification (IT specialist)
Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes (k3d and OpenShift) and Helm charts
Experience with logging (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana)
Programming knowledge (Java, JavaScript, Lua, Scala), scripting (Shell, Bash, Python) and API design (REST, messaging, RabbitMQ), as well as experience with Postgres and S3 in microservice architectures
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications, preferably with GitLab
Knowledge of Linux, preferably on Red Hat systems, and of network protocols in the context of APISIX and Myra
Team and communication skills (English and at least B2 German) as well as a systematic, goal-oriented and independent working style
