About this role
Role Overview
Deliver virtual outpatient therapy to individuals affected by chronic conditions and their family caregivers.
Perform remote clinical counseling services to clients of Nolia as scheduled and in accordance with company policies.
Maintain proper licensure and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics which are binding upon or applicable to the services performed at Nolia.
Completion of written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Nolia or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient.
Maintain up to date and accurate patient files at all times.
Requirements
Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in counseling or social work
Active, unrestricted license (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in the State of California or Washington
Required experience with completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes in compliance with healthcare plans
Ideally 2 years of experience (professional or lived) in understanding the needs and challenges faced by family caregivers and older adults
Demonstrate a deep understanding of cultural humility and the ability to communicate and effectively interact with individuals from different cultures, abilities, genders, ethnicities, and races.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
Specialty or training in ACT and/or CBT highly preferred.
Social justice oriented and practices anti-racism work.
Proficiency in another language, other than English, is a plus but not required.
