Role Overview
- Lead environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory strategy for the New York project
- Oversee acquisition, modification, and maintenance of environmental permits and represent Micron with New York State and local agencies
- Integrate environmental requirements into project planning and execution across Facilities, Construction, Engineering, and Project Management
- Identify and mitigate environmental and schedule risks tied to permitting, approvals, and compliance
- Lead development and implementation of environmental management systems, including ISO 14001
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 5 years directing environmental compliance programs
- Demonstrated team leadership experience
- Experience supporting large‑scale construction projects in New York, including permitting, agency coordination, and compliance oversight
- Strong data analysis, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
