Oversee all inventory management activities to ensure the efficient, accurate, and cost-effective receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
Develop and implement inventory control processes to maintain inventory accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and minimize excess or shortages
Collaborate with supply chain, operations, procurement, and finance to align inventory with production and business needs
Lead cycle counts, audits, and system reconciliations to ensure data integrity and support continuous operational improvement
Manage the company's inventory control activities to ensure efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing raw materials and finished products
Monitor inspection of incoming items against orders for accuracy, completeness, and defects
Manage periodic and special inventories; account for inventory variances
Develop and implement improvements in policies and procedures to promote efficiency, faster service, and lower costs
Plan and coordinate the transfer of products, materials, equipment, parts, accessories, and/or supplies between/among warehouses
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or regulated environment
Proven ability to establish structure, enforce processes, and maintain strict inventory control standards within a fast-paced operational environment
3+ years of demonstrated success leading teams and holding personnel accountable to inventory accuracy, cycle counting schedules, and warehouse procedures
Strong experience implementing and managing cycle count programs, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation processes
Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management tools
Experience driving operational discipline, process compliance, and continuous improvement across inventory and warehouse operations
U.S. Citizenship required
This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
