Tester, Certifier – IEC 60601-1, Electrical Safety, Medical Devices

Role Overview

• Plan, organize, perform and document tests on medical devices and assemblies to demonstrate product safety as part of an IEC 60601-1 review.
• Prepare quality-relevant test reports including approvals in accordance with the requirements of the standard and the applicable procedure (e.g., CB or NRTL).
• Define and coordinate the scope of testing/test plans with the relevant development project regarding the regulatory required scope.
• Carry out and organize troubleshooting in case of failures.
• Cooperate with external certification bodies such as CSA or TÜV for product safety certifications of our medical devices.

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training with many years of professional experience in electronics / electrical engineering.
• Relevant experience in testing or troubleshooting.
• Good command of English.
