Role Overview
- Communicate daily with several departments internally and with partner railroads
- Initiate shipment documentation to railroads and manage day-to-day needs of the rail services group
- Review data for deficiencies and resolve discrepancies with merchandisers
- Create final shipment documentation by compiling, filing, sorting, and establishing rail data priorities
- Verify entered rail billing data
- Assist merchandisers with diversions and similar rebill requests
- Assist customers with transportation and logistical needs
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business analytics, or logistics/transportation
- Ability to work overtime, including evenings and/or weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Accurate keyboarding, 10 key, and data entry
