About this role
Role Overview
- Handle all aspects of third-party EPL/Professional Liability/D&O claims from inception through conclusion
- Proactively identify and review suspect/fraudulent claims on a consistent basis
- Build effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Provide support to Team Managers and deputizing in their absence
- Assist with monitoring market/industry practices in claims handling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
- Multi-state adjuster licenses and/or JD preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal/regulatory and litigation/procedural requirements for Financial Lines
- Specialist knowledge of Employment Practices Liability technical claims topics
- At least some experience in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration
- Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation
- Lateral thinking and the ability to problem solve and develop new ideas to improve working practices
- Strong communication, time management, administrative and report-writing skills
