Role Overview
- assists with and administers executive and administrative functions within the Public Works Department
- responsible for directing all administrative activities of two or more divisions charged with the repair and maintenance of streets, sidewalks, alleys, lanes, bridges, water mains, water treatment plant, the water distribution system, the electrical distribution system, electrical power supply, municipal cemeteries, and the maintenance of public facilities, lands, equipment, and other structures.
Requirements
- possession of a bachelor’s degree in public administration, urban or general studies, public works management or a related field from an accredited college or university
- progressively responsible for public sector management and administration, preferably at the local government level.
- Applicants with a master's degree are preferred.
