Role Overview
- Contribute to a full Hardware project (to be defined depending on priorities)
- from idea to pre-series.
- Translating product needs into a functional electronic architecture (component selection, constraints, schematics)
- Designing production-ready multi-layer schematics and PCBs with zero critical errors
- Developing structured embedded firmware in C (ESP32, STM32, Arduino-class)
- Integrating mechanical constraints (form factor, connectors, thermal dissipation) from the design phase
- Assembling, soldering, debugging, and bringing up prototypes independently
- Designing test benches
- Preparing a pre-series (~10 units): BOM stability, supplier files, manufacturability
- Producing clear and reusable documentation
Requirements
- Engineering student specialized in electronics or embedded systems (gap year or final internship)
- Able to design a complete PCB independently (schematic + layout)
- Comfortable with embedded C (interrupt handling, I2C, SPI, UART, debugging)
- Hands-on hardware prototyping experience (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
- Understanding of industrialization basics (BOM structuring, DFM, small production runs)
- Structured, rigorous, capable of root cause analysis
- Strong learning ability and autonomy
- Nice to have: Experience in a robotics club, DIY, 3D printing
