Lead and provide advanced optical engineering expertise for complex development projects.
Design, develop, and validate advanced optical systems and measurement setups to support product and technology development.
Perform laboratory optical measurements using existing setups, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive documentation and technical reports.
Test and validate new optical setups for optical measurements.
Drive the design and realization of prototypes and engineering samples, ensuring alignment with performance and quality targets.
Estimate and manage project scope, cost, and timelines for assigned optical engineering tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and integrate optical solutions into new product developments.
Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent in Optical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in optical engineering or a closely related field.
Experience in imaging optical design, prototyping, optical setup assembly, and industrialization.
Experience with optical simulation and tolerance analysis using Zemax.
CAD design software knowledge is a plus.
The successful candidate should be flexible, receptive to ideas from others, team-oriented, and willing to work with scientists, engineers, and colleagues from varied technical backgrounds to continue pushing the technology envelope.
Good command of spoken and written English.
