Lead a team of 14 professionals (direct and indirect), promoting development and high performance
Coordinate the accounting close process in partnership with the Shared Services Center (SSC), ensuring adherence to Brazilian accounting standards, accuracy of information, and compliance with legal and Group deadlines
Oversee the preparation and consistency of the Balance Sheet, Financial Statements, and Cash Flow
Manage fixed asset control, including acquisitions, disposals, asset transfers, and inventory cycles
Lead projects to implement accounting standards, including IFRS 18
Design and implement tax strategies to optimize cash flow and improve the tax efficiency of operations
Manage the impacts and implementation of Tax Reform within the company
Ensure proper management of the risk and internal controls matrix, including execution of SOX controls
Serve as the focal point for relationships with internal and external audits
Lead the advancement of the maturity level of the company’s internal control environment
Requirements
Strong leadership and people management skills
Ability to operate in a matrixed corporate environment, interacting with different areas and hierarchical levels
Analytical and curious mindset, oriented toward continuous improvement, with willingness to challenge the status quo and stay connected to the business
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration
Knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 16) and SOX controls
Experience liaising with and supporting internal and external audits
Knowledge of corporate taxation and internal controls
