Lead efforts to create scalable, reliable experimentation processes for our evolving Diner & Fulfillment organization
Define evaluation metrics, design experiments, and conduct manual/ad-hoc analyses
Leverage the existing Grubhub Experimentation Platform, establish and teach Experimentation best practices
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, design, and other areas
Deliver high-quality solutions through data exploration, data modeling, causal inference and machine learning
Act as a thought leader in experimentation for Diner & Fulfillment, advising Product, Operations, and Engineering teams on best practices
Requirements
An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, or a related field
A deep understanding of statistics, with practical experience in experimentation or other areas of product analysis
Solid product insight and intuition, applied in consumer-facing user interface contexts or when supporting technical teams, like product and/or engineering
Proven experience in effectively communicating and driving product decisions among diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in SQL and quantitative programming languages such as Python or R
The ability to clearly articulate technical and statistical ideas to a wide range of audiences with varying levels of expertise
A strong track record of mentoring, collaborating, and enabling others, particularly in your area of expertise
Actively contributes to technical communities by organizing or participating in events such as workshops, seminars, and conferences
Promotes open dialogue and supports diverse viewpoints, ensuring inclusivity across all levels of experience.
