Preparation of the economic and technical execution and realization of projects, providing advisory support in collaboration with the project team and colleagues from work preparation, site management, planning, estimating and other branches
Maintaining contact with external parties such as subcontractors, suppliers, specialist planners, etc. before, during and after the construction phase
Monitoring trends and developments in the construction industry and providing timely information to the estimating department and project teams
Identifying optimization potential and further developing existing procurement strategies
Determining requirements and preparing specifications/bills of quantities; obtaining and analysing bids
Negotiating and awarding contracts; managing change orders
Requirements
Vocational training with a construction-related background
Ideally a completed degree in civil engineering (MSc/BSc) or qualification as a construction technician
Career changers welcome (e.g., building materials salesperson or similar)
Professional experience is desirable but not mandatory (graduates and career starters welcome)
Interest in delivering demanding construction projects
Solid knowledge of common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook); ideally experience with Nevaris and similar software
Commercial and entrepreneurial understanding as well as negotiation skills
You should be motivated, reliable, confident, a team player, communicative, flexible, creative and analytical
