Both new business and retention opportunities exist, and your expertise will include developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, outlining all client requirements, and proactively assigning and tracking responsibilities across cross-functional teams

Identifying risks early and implement solutions to maintain timelines and proposal quality
Shaping proposal strategy, messaging, and structure to highlight Alight’s value
Customizing standard content to align with each client’s goals and unique needs
Drafting or refining executive summaries and technical sections to ensure clarity and accuracy
Partnering with sales, legal, finance, product, and SMEs to gather and synthesize inputs
Collaborating with graphics teams to ensure visuals and messaging are aligned and impactful
Mentoring junior proposal team members as needed to support quality and consistency.
Requirements
8–12+ years of proposal management experience, ideally in the benefits industry
Demonstrate ability to lead multiple high stakes projects simultaneously
Possess exceptional writing, editing, and persuasive communication skills
Be an influential leader, collaborator, and detail oriented under strict deadlines
Possess advanced proficiency with MS Office (SharePoint, Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and RFP/proposal software
Able to synthesize complex information and tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
