Role Overview
- Perform advanced chemical analyses on metallic materials and metals in aqueous solutions
- Report to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering
- Promote ethical conduct, transparency, traceability and data integrity in all laboratory activities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain analytical procedures for bulk metal composition and trace analysis
- Ensure data acquisition, processing and reporting follow controlled procedures
- Prepare and issue compliant test reports
- Perform technical evaluation of subcontracted laboratory reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years in a chemical testing laboratory
- Advanced competence in method validation, uncertainty evaluation, QC tools and audit readiness.
- Data-management experience (including LIMS)
- English level: intermediate B2
