Senior Test Analyst

Role Overview

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and requirements, creating detailed plans to ensure successful execution.
• Evaluate business requirements and translate them into practical, understandable terms for the business requester and all project participants.
• Produce essential artifacts such as documentation, automated tests, process flows, and status reports to ensure clarity and transparency across projects and goals.
• Ensure projects comply with applicable regulations. Manage the execution of IT projects, ensuring delivery meets the expected quality standards.
• Define final quality acceptance criteria to guarantee that projects meet customer standards and expectations.
• Provide critical insights and analyses to support senior management in strategic IT decision-making.
• The day-to-day work of a Systems Test Analyst at an insurance company is dynamic and challenging; this role is central to the IT team and business strategy. This professional ensures technology and processes are aligned with company objectives and customer expectations, playing a key role in the success of IT projects.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure successful project delivery that meets the final objectives.
• Actively participate in project/process management, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and with high quality.
• Provide training and support to end users of IT systems, ensuring they can use new technologies and features effectively.
• Maintain a focus on customer needs and expectations when proposing technological solutions in an agile, high-quality, and sustainable manner.

Requirements

• Effective verbal and written communication to translate technical information into terms understandable by technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Broad technical knowledge including information systems, software development, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
• Automated testing using leading market tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
• Prepare test plans, specifications, and execute tests using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development processes.
• Experience with business analysis tools, flowcharts, and project management tools.
• Knowledge of insurance market principles and its various lines of business and operational areas.
• Familiarity with different types of testing: regression, exploratory, and functional testing.
