Role Overview
Prepare, submit, and track state insurance regulatory filings
Maintain regulatory filing calendars and ensure timely completion of all required submissions
Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, and business teams to gather and validate filing information
Coordinate company responses to state insurance department market conduct examinations
Maintain organized documentation and tracking of examination materials, regulator communications, and company responses
Monitor state insurance regulatory developments, bulletins, and examination trends
Serve as a liaison between the company and state insurance regulators on administrative and filing matters
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of professional experience in insurance, regulatory affairs, compliance, legal support, or related field
5+ years of experience in insurance regulatory filings, regulatory affairs, compliance, or related insurance operations role
Proven success in handling sensitive regulatory information
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
