About this role
Role Overview
You are responsible for either the commissioning, maintenance and repair or the validation of our medical devices so that patients can be treated under the highest hygiene standards.
As a MELAG expert you independently perform fault analyses on our devices, enabling you to calculate time, materials and costs for repairs and provide reliable cost estimates to our end customers.
You act as a competent contact for other technical questions from regional end customers and trade partners so that MELAG continues to be associated not only with high-quality products but also with excellent service.
You start your service calls directly from home in a company car that is equipped to some extent according to your needs, and receive spare parts delivered to your immediate area to avoid unnecessary trips for environmental reasons and to save time.
Requirements
You have completed electrical training as an electrician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, medical technician or a comparable qualification.
You have professional experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrotechnical devices and systems — ideally gained in field service.
You are familiar with basic networking concepts and have good IT skills.
You are characterized by analytical troubleshooting skills for electromechanical devices, manual dexterity and a systematic, quality-conscious approach to fault resolution.
You are willing to travel regionally within a radius of approximately 100 km from your place of residence.
You must possess a valid Class B driving licence (formerly Class III).
Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
