Creation and updating of measurement programs based on technical drawings and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Quality Assurance and Engineering
Optimization of measurement programs to reduce measuring time and lower costs (e.g., reducing required equipment)
Setup of probing systems
Inspection of probing and measurement systems for functionality (e.g., probe wear or probe misalignment)
Regular maintenance and servicing of coordinate measuring machines and associated inspection tools
Procurement of redundancies for measuring machines (emergency strategy)
Execution of assigned investigative tasks and data analyses and documentation of results
Execution of special measurements (e.g., manual measurements)
Delivery of training sessions with measurement-specific content
Requirements
Completed vocational training in a technical field or further training in metrology
Very good knowledge of coordinate measuring machine programming (Zeiss Calypso, Adcole, Hommel, etc.)
Thorough ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Solid understanding of quality requirements in the automotive industry (IATF 16949)
Experience in quality assurance and metrology
Several years of programming experience (Zeiss Calypso) advantageous
Knowledge of serial production with emphasis on machining and assembly processes
Experience working with ERP systems and MS Office applications
Written English skills
