Civil Engineer, Overhead Line Construction

Role Overview

• Advising on and supervising overhead line construction projects — in particular during installation and dismantling works, stringing operations, and special projects.
• Providing technical support to site and project management for complex undertakings during the execution phase.
• Developing and contributing to technical concepts such as crossing protection, stringing, and grounding/earthing plans.
• Conducting project site inspections and preparing technical concepts as part of tender and bid processes.
• Participating in innovation projects and planning and organizing pilot trials.
• Temporarily assuming leadership responsibilities, for example in the event of short-term absence of site or project managers.

Requirements

• Completed technical education (e.g. Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Technology or similar).
• Several years of experience in construction/site management, ideally in infrastructure, energy, or power/line construction.
• Strong technical understanding and excellent advisory skills.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and, if required, internationally.
