Design and execute high-quality visual solutions for digital content, including editorial features, landing pages, and templates
Create mood boards, infographics, illustrations, and other visual elements that enhance and support editorial storytelling
Develop engaging visual assets for social media platforms, including both static and motion-based content
Design video graphics and motion elements as needed for digital and social storytelling
Collaborate closely with editors and the art team to develop and present visual concepts in editorial planning meetings
Manage projects from concept through final delivery, ensuring creative excellence, brand alignment, and timely execution

2+ years of relevant design experience, ideally in a media, editorial, or digital publishing environment
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with InDesign preferred
Working knowledge of Figma required
Strong typography skills and experience designing for both web and mobile platforms
Experience creating GIFs, motion graphics, or video assets is a plus; illustration skills are a bonus
Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere is a plus
A refined visual sensibility and strong understanding of maintaining brand consistency across platforms
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work hybrid in New York City with an expectation of 4 days per week in-office
