About this role
Role Overview
- Involved in the preparation of the annual budget and multiple forecasts
- Prepare, consolidate, and analyze budgets for L.A. Care Health Plan
- Assist with financial statement analysis and reporting
- Interact with management team and department staff for budget development
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert and mentor other staff
- Develop budget/forecast data models
- Support Division Chiefs and Directors on monitoring departmental spending
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Related Field
- At least 4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Finance
- Experience in accounting, budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with financial data for Medi-Cal population or healthcare industry (preferred)
- Experience with SAP financial systems (preferred)
- Strong financial modeling and superior attention to detail
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues
