About this role
Role Overview
Participate in the development and maintenance of geospatial information systems.
Design and develop application components in a .NET environment.
Develop geomatics functionalities using ArcGIS and ArcObjects technologies.
Design and implement geospatial processing workflows using FME.
Contribute to the management and integration of geospatial data within information systems.
Deploy and maintain geospatial solutions in ArcGIS Server environments.
Participate in the integration of web geospatial platforms using Geocortex.
Collaborate with functional analysis and architecture teams.
Contribute to optimizing the performance of geospatial processing.
Document technical solutions and ensure knowledge transfer.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in geomatics, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
Have at least eight (8) years of experience as a programmer-analyst in the development or maintenance of information systems using a relational DBMS.
Have at least three (3) years of .NET development experience using ArcGIS libraries (ArcObjects).
Have at least two (2) years of experience developing or automating geospatial processes with FME.
Have at least two (2) years of development experience in a Unix or Linux environment.
Have practical knowledge of command-line and scripting in a Unix or Linux environment.
Have at least one (1) year of experience with ArcGIS Server.
Have at least one (1) year of experience with the Geocortex platform.
Have a solid understanding of geospatial system architectures.
Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
