About this role
Role Overview
Design, implement, and lead a comprehensive global Health & Safety (H&S) learning program.
Develop and execute a long-term Health & Safety training strategy aligned with organizational goals and global regulatory requirements.
Build the EH&S training program from inception, including needs assessment, framework design, curriculum development, implementation strategy, and evaluation metrics.
Identifies and partners with third-party content providers to supplement internally developed content.
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of EH&S training programs across all business units, regions, and levels of the organization.
Develop & deliver ongoing train-the-trainer for onsite individuals, conducting health and safety training.
Evaluate program effectiveness through data analytics, feedback, and audit results, and implement enhancements accordingly.
Design, develop, and maintain engaging training content—eLearning modules, instructor-led workshops, videos, and microlearning resources.
Facilitate high-impact sessions for leaders, managers, and employees as needed.
Requirements
7-10 years of health and safety experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic program management capacity.
Or, 7-10 years of L&D training experience with at least 3 years in a senior or strategic program management capacity.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Learning and Development, or a closely related discipline.
Proven experience building a comprehensive safety training program from the ground up, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Strong instructional design background with demonstrated ability to create impactful learning experiences.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, global environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to occasionally work outside of regular business hours to accommodate global program delivery.
Experience in a multinational corporate environment is preferred.
Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
