Requirements
UK Pension background: detailed understanding and ability to explain the difference between DB, DC, CARE and Annuities
Able to explain pension member records and their set up
Knowledge of relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds and investments
Understanding different types of Pension Schemes
Explain different types of member status and applicable calculations for each
Describe the regulatory bodies and their roles in this sector
Demonstrate knowledge of system set up and use of parameters
Strong MS Excel skills with ability to draft an automated excel calculator; ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables, lookups, control totals, IF statements
Good MS Access skills
Able to understand requirements and produce specifications.
