Physiotherapist, 3X3 England National Team

Role Overview

• Provide a consistent and professional service supporting elite level therapy to the 3x3 England National Teams
• Lead on player physical screening and assessments
• Co-ordinate player injury prevention and management strategies
• Guide decisions on players’ appropriate medical care
• Work with strength and conditioning and coaching staff on performance testing
• Provide regular therapy clinics for injury assessment and treatment
• Act as coordinator for player medical guidance
• Inform medical staff on athlete treatment impacts
• Provide immediate courtside assessment and treatment of injuries
• Create a safe training and playing environment

Requirements

• A degree in Physiotherapy/Sports Therapy (SST)/BASRaT (Essential)
• A Master’s degree in related area (Desirable)
• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
• Current, up to date Sports Trauma Management course
• To be fully insured to carry out this role
• Demonstrable commitment to CPD
• Working in a multi-sport or major games environment
• desirable
• Delivering all relevant therapy modalities including taping, joint mobilisations, warm ups/cool downs, massage
