About this role
Role Overview
Manage inbound and outbound calls averaging 50-60 calls per day
Follow approved standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to update and provide necessary information to resolve denied claims
Evaluate current policies and SOP’s and give recommendations for process improvements
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Document all accounts ensuring guidelines and regulations are followed
Communicate via telephone with a physician, insurance company and patients
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
One year or more Customer Service experience
1 year or more high volume call experience preferred
1 year or more healthcare or medical experience preferred
Strong phone and verbal communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to meet deadlines
