Partner closely with the Executive Head of Labor Relations and senior business leaders to plan, organize, and facilitate labor strategy initiatives, policies, and practices, with a strong emphasis on collective bargaining and union‑management relationships.
Provide strategic and operational support for collective bargaining preparation, negotiations, and post‑agreement implementation activities.
Serve as a key liaison in managing relationships with union leadership, supporting constructive engagement and issue resolution.
Lead day‑to‑day planning, coordination, and execution of labor relations initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and strategic objectives.
Consolidate and deliver enterprise‑level status reporting, executive communications, and engagement strategies related to labor relations and change initiatives.
Anticipate, assess, and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decision points across multiple, concurrent change efforts.
Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management policies, standards, and governance requirements.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure change readiness activities—such as communications, training, and stakeholder engagement—are effectively executed to support the people side of change.
Support labor relations team leads and project owners to ensure commitments are met, milestones are achieved, and outcomes align with strategic goals.
Influence decision‑making through a collaborative, data‑driven approach, building credibility and trust with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by delivering cross‑functional support and adjusting priorities in response to evolving business needs.
Requirements
6+ years of Labor Relations experience in an organized environment or Labor Law or Strategic Planning expertise, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Demonstrated Labor Relations expertise or relevant Human Resources experience in a unionized or organized environment, and/or strong labor law experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
Working knowledge of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) and experience supporting or navigating union organizing activity.
Extensive experience leading or supporting collective bargaining negotiations for a large, complex employer.
Experience bargaining with the Communications Workers of America (CWA) or similar national unions.
Strong executive presence with advanced facilitation skills, attention to detail, and a demonstrated drive for results.
Proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels and influence outcomes through collaboration.
Advanced capability to create and deliver clear, audience‑appropriate communications, including executive‑level presentations and written materials.
Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, and align stakeholders across organizational boundaries to enable timely, high‑quality decision‑making.
