Drive BESS, HVO generator, and transformer upgrades from initial site feasibility and supplier assessment through to grid connection, commissioning, and final handover.
Produce robust AC/DC designs, cable schedules, and tender documents.
Act as the definitive technical voice from the feasibility stage with the customer to on-site during commissioning.
Conduct site feasibility surveys, manage external consultants through the design phases, and lead Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) investigations on equipment failures.
Develop complete project tender packages, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), while actively managing project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Requirements
5 to 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within the power generation, renewables or utilities industry.
An Electrical Craft Certificate is advantageous but not essential.
Deep, practical knowledge of generator systems, BESS integrations, medium-voltage installations, and earthing.
Highly capable of reading, understanding, and producing complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD.
A self-starter capable of managing projects independently across diverse locations in Ireland and the UK.
A valid full driving license is required.
