CAD Engineer – Automotive Development

Role Overview

• Create and develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies
• Support engineering teams with design concepts, revisions, and technical documentation
• Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions to ensure optimal solutions
• Ensure designs meet engineering standards, packaging requirements, and manufacturability criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including simulation, testing, and manufacturing
• Maintain and update CAD data, drawings, and documentation in PLM systems

Requirements

• Experience working as a CAD Engineer or Mechanical Design Engineer
• Strong experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Catia, Creo, NX, or similar)
• Experience with mechanical design and product development processes
• Ability to work with technical drawings and design documentation
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams
• Good communication skills in English
• Nice-to-Have: Experience from the automotive industry
• Familiarity with PLM systems
• Experience working in agile or cross-disciplinary development environments
