Oversee site activities related to the installation and commissioning of Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and associated equipment.
Assist the Erector in the installation of HRSG components, including piping and auxiliary systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
Interpret sketches and drawings for construction, ensuring installation of pressure parts, equipment, modules, and piping according to specified requirements and installation sequence.
Review and ensure that HRSG installation method statements are prepared safely and effectively.
Report commercial and technical deviations with quality records/non-conformance reports (NCR) and follow up until resolution.
Ensure all necessary documents, such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPL), reports, and quality documentation, are provided by subcontractors/partners during system turnover certification.
Support resolution of technical issues with GE Vernova engineering using the reporting system tools, such as submitting Engineering Request (ER) cases for site installation clarification.
Review welding documents, including Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and welder qualifications, prior to commencement of welding activities.
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols for heavy lifting activities during HRSG component installation.
Review lifting plans proposed by installation companies, considering site constraints and conditions.
Ensure HRSG piping installation and testing are conducted according to project specifications.
Oversee the performance of HRSG hydrotests, and ensure preservation measures are implemented post-hydrotest.
Validate cleaning methodologies, chemical cleaning processes, and safety valve settings meet specifications.
Ensure waste disposal, including test media, adheres to local environmental standards.
Identify and resolve site interferences during installation and testing phases across disciplines.
Issue progress reports to the Construction Manager, Site Manager, and TK/SI Installation Leader.
Prepare and execute HRSG tests, performance tests, and reliability runs.
Utilize Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for system checks.
Support the setting and testing of instrumentation and logical checks (e.g., pressure and temperature transmitters, vibration detectors, position switches).
Requirements
5-15 years experience in the Project Management & Construction and Commissioning
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 16 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s))
