Provide Instrument & Controls, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), and Burner Management System engineering expertise to support site business units/operating divisions
Work closely with discipline engineers, project managers, plant operations, and maintenance teams to deliver complex engineering solutions
Oversee the design, specification, configuration, application, installation, and testing of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) & Burner Management Systems (BMS)
Assist in developing and maintaining instrument documentation, functional design specifications, P&IDs, control panel layout and design, and related engineering deliverables
Participate in hazard and risk assessments, including PHA, HAZOP, Functional Safety Assessments, and SIL studies
Provide oversight and technical support to capital projects during FEL, detailed design & engineering, construction, and commissioning.
Requirements
A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
10 + years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
In-depth technical experience in process instrumentation and controls, including Fire & Gas, pressure, temperature, level, and flow measurement technology
Proven experience in designing, implementing, programming and commissioning PLCs, SIS and Burner Management Systems (BMS) control equipment/systems
Well-developed troubleshooting skills in instrumentation
Ability to communicate effectively in technical manufacturing discussions
A strong commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of local and national safety standards.
