Outpatient Coder – Revenue Cycle

Role Overview

• Assess documentation and verify the correct ICD and CPT codes to patient medical records
• Monitor records for timely coding turnaround
• Maintain coding and documentation quality standards
• Perform audits to support data quality and medical necessity

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of additional post-secondary health-related program preferred
• E&M experience preferred
• CPC Apprentice preferred
• 2-3 years preferred
