Role Overview
- Repair, upgrade, modify, or verify sub components of electronic or electro-mechanical equipment
- Use advanced diagnostic techniques and improvised circuits
- Work independently on assigned projects
- Perform complex analysis of major malfunctions
- Provide repair estimates for cost and time
- Document repair procedures and train others
Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 to 4 years of directly related electro-mechanical experience
- Proficient in soldering/de-soldering skills including Surface Mount, Ball Grid Array
- Experience as a Hardware Engineer in repairing
- Knowledge of analog, digital, and RF electronics
- High level of mechanical ability
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database programs
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
