Work on the development of our internal system, being responsible for fixing bugs and developing new features and integrations.
Lead the development of new features and corrective maintenance of the internal system, ensuring the stability and performance of the xHarbour environment.
Design and implement integrations between the legacy system and modern APIs, web services, and other systems in the company stack.
Analyze complex xHarbour code to perform refactoring and code versioning, aiming to improve readability, reduce technical issues, and eliminate processing bottlenecks.
Support technical decision-making regarding system architecture and assist in translating complex business rules into software requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
Solid experience in xHarbour development;
Knowledge of databases;
Experience in legacy systems development;
Experience consuming APIs for communication between the xHarbour system and other services;
Strong analytical ability to understand business rules in legacy systems;
Proactive attitude and good communication skills.
Knowledge of ADVPL;
Knowledge of Clipper.
