About this role
Role Overview
- Work on the development of our internal system, being responsible for fixing bugs and developing new features and integrations.
- Lead the development of new features and corrective maintenance of the internal system, ensuring the stability and performance of the xHarbour environment.
- Design and implement integrations between the legacy system and modern APIs, web services, and other systems in the company stack.
- Analyze complex xHarbour code to perform refactoring and code versioning, aiming to improve readability, reduce technical issues, and eliminate processing bottlenecks.
- Support technical decision-making regarding system architecture and assist in translating complex business rules into software requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
- Solid experience in xHarbour development;
- Knowledge of databases;
- Experience in legacy systems development;
- Experience consuming APIs for communication between the xHarbour system and other services;
- Strong analytical ability to understand business rules in legacy systems;
- Proactive attitude and good communication skills.
- Knowledge of ADVPL;
- Knowledge of Clipper.
